If you’re over the age of thirty and have all kinds of ideas about where you’re going, what you want to do, what you want to accomplish or just have a desire to do something other than what you’ve been stuck doing while you hate it, you need me. This applies to careers and personal lives. If you could do it by yourself wouldn’t you have done it already? You tell me what you want or what you think you want and that’s where we start. Then we get into why what you want hasn’t happened and how to make it happen.
If you’re in a difficult situation you need my eyes to take a look, get a different and fresh perspective. I’ve lived a long time and my perspective on difficult situations is that they can all be solved one way or another. Don’t you want to live a more fulfilled life, whether that’s money, career, relationship, developing that invention you know is going to score you a ton of money and so on? You get stuck thinking instead of doing. The problem is if you’ve been procrastinating for awhile you’re likely to stay stuck without me.
I help you make tough decisions, sharpen your skills, and I motivate you to go for it. I help you make a plan, your plan, and then I help you follow through with the steps in your plan. Sounds so easy but, if it was, why would you be stuck where you are instead of where you want to be?
Your friends aren’t going to help you. Your partner isn’t going to help you and neither is your neighbor. I’ll help you but expect a little motivational pushing from me for you to do what you said you were going to do, a step, on the way to your end goal. After we get established, we’ll talk on the phone about three times a month and go down your list, see what you did, evaluate it and you can explain to me why you didn’t do what you said you were going to do if you didn’t do it. Or you can crow about your accomplished step and I will cheer you on. I don’t care what your favorite TV show is (read couch potato) and I don’t care if you had a recent breakup and how heartbroken you are. I don’t care how lonely you are, or obligated, overworked, or overwhelmed you feel.That stuff is for a therapist and if you need one you need one. I’m not discouraging you from seeking therapy. You just need to understand I’m not your therapist. I’m your coach. I believe in you and believe in your ability to get where you want to go. But you’re going to have buckle down and work for it if you want to actually get there in this lifetime.
I like to work in the dark, night time, not in my head. So I’m available at night and late night.
